Step on a piece of paper with your heel slightly touching a wall behind.
Mark the end of your longest toe on the paper (you might need a friend to help you) and measure from the wall to the marking.
Do the same for the other foot and compare measurements with the size chart to get the right size.

That same year, the LD-1000 debuted, only to be recalled shortly after due to safety concerns over its distinctive flared heel. Contrary to Phil Knight's expectations of backlash, customers responded with appreciation for the recall.

Now, the iconic flared heel is back. This heritage edition of the LD-1000 features special insole graphics that honor the legacy of Athletics West. Suede and breathable textiles combine with a Waffle outsole to deliver the classic look you’ve always loved.
