In 2021, adidas SPZL joined forces with C.P. Company to commemorate the iconic Italian brand's 50th anniversary, unveiling the highly sought-after Italia CP SPZL trainer. The shoe quickly became a cultural favourite, cementing its status as a must-have silhouette. Now, the partnership is back, presenting a full collection of apparel, footwear, and accessories—this time honouring the label’s 10th anniversary.
C.P. Company: the Original Italian Sportswear brand
Since its inception in 1971, C.P. Company has been at the forefront of functional fashion. The Italian label, founded by Massimo Osti, is famed for its innovative dyeing processes and utilitarian design ethos. With a nod to military and workwear influences, pieces like the "Goggle Jacket", helped define their design language and cement them as leaders in utilitarian fashion.

A tale of community, shared experiences, and genuine friendship unfolds in the latest adidas SPZL x CP Company collection. This bold reinterpretation of classic designs seamlessly connects the iconic Italian brand with Gary Aspden’s enduring tribute to the Three Stripes archive.
The footwear offering features several unique adidas SPZL silhouettes, told through the lens of C.P. Company.
Drawing inspiration from wild Northern landscapes and named after England’s third-highest peak, the CP Helvellyn SPZL combines rugged design with refined style. This unique sneaker, in a cardboard-inspired colourway, features hiking boot-inspired elements.
The CP Wimberly SPZL pays homage to the iconic Handball Spezial with a modern twist. Crafted with smooth suede uppers and stitched 3 Stripes, these sneakers deliver timeless style with collectible appeal.
The CP SL 83 SPZL builds on the adidas SL 82’s iconic design, adding a T-toe and incorporating a variety of materials to create subtle, contrasting olive green tones across the upper.
The CP Manchester SPZL, one of the most coveted silhouettes in adidas’ history, is reimagined for the anniversary with CP Company’s distinctive touch. Featuring premium materials, added eyelets, and zigzag stitching on the stripes, it’s a modern twist on a classic.
Finally, the CP Italia SPZL is revived in a luxurious leather construction, complemented by a suede T-toe and a striking Royal Blue/White colourway, paying homage to the brands’ previous collaboration.
Reimagining classics with a unique cultural exchange, adidas SPZL x CP Company seamlessly combines SPZL’s homage to adidas heritage with C.P. Company’s iconic Italian style. This collection transforms timeless pieces, incorporating the design language of SPZL into the graphic iconography of C.P. Company. Namely the C.P. Company sailor and the graphic placements on the 1980s Mille Miglia jackets.
The collection includes a sweatshirt featuring CP Company’s sailor clad in adidas SPZL, alongside short and long sleeve pocket tees inspired by Mille Miglia graphics. A half-zip knit updates SPZL’s debut Mod Trefoil piece from 2014, while a matching fine-needle cord track top and trousers elevate the classic Settend 2 tracksuit from 2015.
Celebrating the collection’s launch in authentic style, an ensemble cast of long-time confidants from both labels comes together in a campaign rooted in shared experiences, raw talent, and true friendship. Featuring Ashley Walters, Stephen Graham, Goldie, Robert Brooks, and Toby Mclellan, the cinematic narrative blends documentary realism with theatrical performance, weaving a story of camaraderie and celebration.
