This February, adidas Originals and Sporty & Rich rekindle their collaboration to unveil a new apparel and footwear collection, drawing inspiration from the timeless spirit and heritage of America’s iconic colleges.
Founded by Emily Oberg in 2014, Sporty & Rich started as a carefully curated mood board—a visual diary capturing a life surrounded by beauty. It soon evolved into a print magazine, celebrating design, iconic figures, creativity, and nostalgic moments. Today, the brand extends this philosophy into a collection of timeless, thoughtfully designed products that prioritise longevity over fleeting trends.
Embracing a timeless varsity aesthetic, Emily Oberg’s Sporty & Rich infuses its signature style into the adidas Originals Handball Spezial. This classic silhouette is reimagined with a premium nubuck upper, suede overlays, satin lining, and debossed gold foil branding. Available in rich Navy, Green, and Maroon colorways, the design seamlessly blends heritage sportswear with modern sophistication.
The apparel collection complements the footwear with a crew neck sweatshirt and wide-leg track pants, each available in three matching colourways. Both pieces are finished with co-branded embroidered details and the signature Three Stripes, seamlessly blending Sporty & Rich’s refined aesthetic with adidas Originals’ heritage.
