Founded in 1952 by Earl Beard in Crockett, Texas, Stan Ray has stayed true to its original mission for over 50 years: making honest, hard-wearing clothing with a focus on quality and longevity. What began with a few machines and a commitment to domestic production quickly evolved into a trusted name among tradespeople across the American South.

Stan Ray's signature pieces — OG-107 fatigues, painter pants, and utility jackets — became cult favourites not just in the US, but overseas. As surplus gear landed in Japanese vintage stores, the brand gained a new following, eventually attracting the attention of retailers like Beams in Tokyo. That demand helped keep the Crockett factory alive while many others shifted offshore.
